Sweden Project Case

A 5×5m Inflatable Event Setup Built for Easier Transport and Better Visibility

5×5m Inflatable X Tent for Outdoor Brand Events in Sweden

This Swedish client needed an outdoor setup for product display and customer reception. Their main problem was quite practical: they wanted a booth large enough to display products properly, but they also wanted to avoid a structure that was heavy, difficult to transport and complicated to install.

For a 5 × 5 m event space, a traditional aluminum frame tent was one option. However, once the frame, roof, sidewalls and accessories are packed together, the shipping volume and chargeable weight can become relatively high, especially for international transportation.

The client therefore chose an inflatable solution.

What They Ordered

The final setup included:

1 × 5 × 5 m Inflatable X Tent

4 m inflatable advertising columns at the front

2 m inflatable advertising columns at the rear

The 5 × 5 m tent provides approximately 25 m² of covered space, giving the client enough room for clothing racks, product displays, storage boxes and customer movement.

Instead of using only one large tent, the additional inflatable columns created more branding positions around the booth. The 4 m columns at the front are tall enough to be seen before visitors reach the display area, while the smaller rear columns help keep the overall setup visually balanced.

Why They Chose an Inflatable Tent Instead of an Aluminum Frame Tent

Transportation was one of the most important considerations.

For this type of 5 × 5 m inflatable X Tent, the shipping volumetric weight is approximately 60 kg depending on the final configuration and accessories.

Compared with a traditional aluminum frame tent of a similar size, the transportation cost can be more than 40% lower, mainly because there are no long aluminum poles, heavy connectors or large rigid frame components.

This difference becomes even more important when the product needs to be shipped internationally or transported repeatedly between events.

The inflatable structure also packs into a much smaller volume after deflation, making storage easier when the event is finished.

For clients who attend multiple events every year, this means they are not only comparing the purchase price of the tent. They also need to consider:

shipping cost + local transportation + storage space + setup time + repeated handling.

In many projects, these ongoing costs matter just as much as the initial product price.

What the Final Setup Achieved

The finished setup gave the client one central 25 m² display area with several additional vertical branding points around it.

The large X-shaped structure made the booth easier to identify, while the front columns extended the branding upward without taking away much usable floor space.

Inside the tent, the client was still able to use standard retail display equipment such as clothing racks, shelving and storage boxes. This was important because the inflatable structure did not require a large amount of internal framework that would interfere with the usable space.

After the event, the entire structure could be deflated, packed and transported instead of moving a large rigid frame system.

What MX Actually Did in This Project

Our role in this project was not only producing the products requested by the client.

Before production, we helped confirm whether a 5 × 5 m X Tent was suitable for the required display space and how the different column heights should work with the main tent.

We also coordinated the branding positions across the tent and columns so that the logos remained visible from different viewing directions instead of simply placing the same artwork everywhere.

During production, MX followed the project through the main manufacturing stages, including artwork confirmation, printing, inflatable structure production and final product checking.

The purpose is simple:

make sure the client receives the right size, the right configuration and a finished setup that can actually be used at the event.

For this Swedish project, the final solution combined a 5 × 5 m inflatable X Tent, 4 m front columns and 2 m rear columns into one complete setup, while keeping the main tent's shipping volumetric weight at approximately 60 kg and significantly reducing transportation costs compared with a similar-sized aluminum frame system.

For event agencies, brands and distributors that need to move their display equipment repeatedly, this is often one of the biggest practical advantages of inflatable event structures.

*This project reflects work completed by our team and manufacturing network. To respect client confidentiality and avoid unauthorized use of client brand assets, original logos and identifying brand elements may be removed or replaced with neutral artwork. These changes are limited to branding only; the product structure, application and project details remain true to the original project.

The visuals communicate how spatial design, atmosphere, and storytelling come together to create anticipation, engagement, and lasting impact.
